Side Tracked

Side Tracked. This is the name scrawled with puff paints that is on our new sand rail. A clever double-meaning name on this Robin Egg Blue hunk of metal. I know it's Robin Egg Blue because it matches perfectly that crayon from a 64 box of crayons.

We bought it a couple weeks ago for $600 not knowing anything about it; even if it ran at all. But it came with some brand new sweet paddle tires that we could easily sell and get our money back if we wanted.

Spent some time working on it, bought a new battery, sold the seats it came with, will sell the little trailer it came on and went to the dunes to try it out.

And here it is on the top of sand mountain looking down on the world!!!

This buggy runs awesome! We had a few minor hiccups on our trip but nothing that can't easily be fixed by my amazing husband. This pictures is being taken on a very steep hill. This rail should do just about all we want it to.

Zoey was not thrilled about wearing goggles but they sure did their job and kept the sand out of her eyes. We kept her bundled up and with her fancy carseat (permanently attached to the buggy) and her eye and ear protection she was ready to go. She slept for a good portion of the riding.

We had quit the party for a January trip to the dunes. Chelsea in her new buggy, Scott, Kelli, Dallin, Kevin and Brian in this picture. Also playing with us was Tina and the twins, Keisha and her girls and Tina's mom and sister.

We are super thrilled that we now have something that our little family can all ride in together. We feel very blessed.

Here is our sweet setup. We love to play as a family and feel so blessed with our nice toys.
