Piece of Cake

I've made two different cakes over the past couple weeks. They've been fun to do so I thought I'd share.

We got together with some college friends for Sunday dinner on Halloween. They have a 4 year old boy who just loved the idea of a giant snake on a cake.

Neil requested that I do a candy explosion cake. For this one I just walked up and down the grocery aisles til creativity found me.


Last Sunday we had a birthday party for Neil's cousin, Ben Jammin' (rather than Benjamin). This cake was a lot of fun to make.

It was actually pretty easy, although it took longer than I thought it would.This is actually made from one cake from a 13X9 size pan. I didn't really believe it would work until I actually did it.
