It was so stinkin' hot and humid and it was a hilly course. I was relieved when it was finally finished.
Kelli took 2nd place in her age division and got a fancy medal!
We went to breakfast at Ihop where we ate way to much food. Got cleaned up and spent the day shopping. Then we got pedicures, a nice treat for our feet that we had been on all day. The plan after that was supposed to be that Neil was going to watch Zoey and Kelli and I were going to dinner and a show at Desert Star Playhouse. But, that is NOT what happened.
Neil was "running late" so we were going to have "Neil's dad watch Zoey" but he is "at the church doing computer work (cuz he's one of the ward clerks, ya know)" so "we'll just drop her off there and be on our way." To Kelli's surprise the multi-purpose room was filled with about 60 friends and family ready and waiting to party.
Neil had his full DJ set up with lights and music. Fun crowd games were played, there was a slideshow of pictures, yummy snacks, we did some Kelli Trivia, Karaoke and my absolute favorite game that Neil does....
Kelli blew out all 40 candles with one breath!
Happy Birthday Kelli! You sure are a wonderful friend!
Such a fun night..so glad we were there! Happy Birthday again, Kelli!
