Jeepin'

After the Strawberry Days Rodeo we were already loaded up and headed straight down to Moab. We went with Kelli and met up with some of her coworkers. We made the drive in only 3 and a half hours (we love our truck!) and spent Friday and Saturday playing.

Neil brought his four-wheeler for one of the trails, Fins & Things, which is mostly slickrock and a ton of fun. Zoey came along too for some of the not as scary trails. The group we went with have some pretty intense rigs that can pretty much walk up any obstacle, so Neil had a ton of fun riding with them on the difficult Moab Rim Trail while us women folk did some shopping. Here's a pic of the group (Kelli's Jeep not pictured): two Rubicons with all the upgrades and a Unimog. What's a Unimog you ask? I had never heard of one before this trip, but that thing is a monster!!!

There was a super cool arch along one of the trails.

Now for some action shots...

Kelli here driving with her mad skills! I have to say she is one pretty tough chick to keep up with the boys and their big toys.
Tusher Tunnel was a super cool destination spot and an easy drive to get to. The tunnel went through the rock about 150 yards or so.

It was super hot so we were grateful that we decided to stay in a hotel for this quick trip so we had a nice cool place to retreat to. Zoey and I also enjoyed so fun time in the pool. We love Moab and had a great time playin' on the rocks.
