5 Year Anniversary

We celebrated our 5 year wedding anniversary last week. Wow, how the time flies.

We were given a gift certificate to the Inn On The Creek in Jackson Hole Wyoming from Neil's mom and decided to use that for our anniversary. The weather was snowy almost the whole time so we didn't venture out much except to do a little window shopping and to eat. The Bed and Breakfast is quaint, cute and super friendly. A nice place to stay. We really enjoyed some relax and chill time.

Our favorite thing we do for our anniversary every year is our Anniversary Book. Basically we created a journal/scrapbook that we update once a year on our anniversary. There is a single page for pictures from the previous year and then a single page of written highlights from the previous year; events, hard times, goals achieved, goals made, emotional/relationship highs and lows and a short paragraph synopsis of how we feel. We both love it. We love to look back at it through the now 5 years. And it truly is amazing how much you forget! It's a simple thing we do each year but it does a lot to strengthen our love for each other.

Neil gave me an unexpected anniversary present/first mothers day gift. A wedding band!

It was difficult to get a decent picture and yet it still doesn't do it justice. I was very surprised and I absolutely love it. Thank you Neil!

On our way home from Jackson we stopped at a nice spot by the river.
