Old Truck

Neil's Grandpa is the original owner of a 1978 Ford Pickup Truck. That truck is hugely sentimental to Neil and his brother, Brian. Grandpa jokes with them about getting rid of it just because he knows he'll get a reaction out of the boys. And Grandma always says, "Oh Bob! You'll do no such thing." It makes me laugh every time.

Yesterday we went down for a visit so Neil could help Grandpa fix a hub bearing. Which actually just turned out that the hub hadn't been unlocked all the way...easy fix! So they tinkered under the hood for a while just for a good time.
Neil's Dad showed up too because he knew we were all there. It was fun to reminisce about that old truck and hear stories about it. We also enjoyed a really awesome dinner and had a good time together. Grandma and Grandpa both loved holding and playing with Zoey too.

We feel very blessed to have such wonderful and healthy grandparents. They are great examples to us.
