Recently we have been having a little trouble with our car not able to go into 2nd gear or reverse. Not having the use of 2nd gear is manageable because you can just skip it and go to 3rd. Not having reverse; well that's a bit more tricky. You don't really realize how often you use reverse and how utterly important it is until you cannot reverse but you cannot go forward either. We had some good times there :)
The replacement part is found only at the dealer and they want $262 bucks! Neil said he would give his first born child before he would pay that to fix that particular problem. So with some hose clamps (which of course he had on hand) and a piece of old air hose he fixed the problem! And it works BETTER than it ever did before. I am so grateful for a husband who can fix things and make them work. He is amazing!
