As we spend the final days in our home before we sell it we reflect on how much we have loved this house.
For those who don't know, we have been invited to house sit for a couple who will be serving an LDS mission. We don't want to move but feel this is the right thing for us to do. We put our house up for sale and suddenly here we are packing up! Opportunity calls.
I took a break from packing to look at the pictures of our house when we first bought it. What a dump it was! Looking at it now it's hard to believe how much work we put into it to make it a home for us. Remembering all that hard work makes it harder for me to go away from it all but oh how much we've learned and grown while being in this home for over 3 years. The weird quirks of a 100+ year old house are the only things that get me through being sad over selling it.
We are so grateful for what this home has been for us; we love it and will miss it.
What a great opportunity! I would love to get into a home. I'm tired of hearing people through the walls all the time!
